Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has flagged off a ₦40,000-per-girl support programme for 24,000 out of school girls across the state, with Fufore Local Government Area serving as the take off point.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening access to education, easing financial constraints faced by vulnerable families, and encouraging school enrolment and retention among the girl-child. By providing direct financial assistance, the programme seeks to secure a brighter future for young girls and promote inclusive development in Adamawa State.




Governor Fintiri described education as a critical pillar of sustainable development, noting that empowering the girl-child remains a priority of his administration. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Adamawa State Government to policies and programmes that address the challenge of out of school children and build a skilled, educated population for the future.
